Do men like it when women wear perfume?

Well here’s a question all the ladies wanted to know. What goes through a man’s mind when a woman walks past him and a medley of fragrant scents linger on in the air? We did a live poll in our hometown of Houston, Texas and asked men what they thought, their answers were nothing short of enlightening.
What notes do you like in women fragrances?
Almost all the men we polled said they love it when women wear scents that were fresh and light. “I love when I lean in to kiss my girlfriend and she smells like she just got out of the shower, it just makes our shared moments a bit more enjoyable” said Jerome Harrison. “I don’t know the name of her perfume, but I know it has a soft floral kick to it and I love it!”
How important is for women to wear perfume?
We found most men to be indifferent to women wearing perfume or choosing not to. “Well it’s not a deal breaker, I’d date her if she didn’t wear any perfume, but when women do wear it around me and it’s a pleasant scent it stops me in my tracks.” Dustin Hatcher
What do you think of gourmand scents on women?
“I think it’s a bit strange for a woman to smell like butterscotch or a chocolate cake in the office or during a date, I find that I like these kind of scents when they are used close to the Holiday season,” said Justin Bowler. Another gentleman said, “ I prefer gourmand scents as a home fragrance, or as a candle. I don’t like them on my wife, but when she wears a perfume that has vanilla in it I do find it nice.”
Do you like when women wear perfume that is more masculine?
“Absolutely! Nothing turns me on more than when a woman can confidently wear a floral scent mixed with pepper or musky notes; it adds to her mystery I feel” said Marshall Hawkins.
For fun we asked a few men what their biggest pet peeve is when women wear perfume.
Though answers varied, the common concern was when their significant other wore a signature perfume their ex-girlfriend or ex-wife would wear. “It doesn’t matter where we are in our relationship I’d let her know that particular scent was what my ex wore, that normally solves the problem” said Neil Garcia.
